Off Stage Productions, Inc announces the cast for their April show, "Who's in Bed with the Butler" by Michael Parker, directed by David Lianez.
This all star cast includes experienced actors and highlights the talents of new actors.
Agnes - Terri Stevens; Clifton - Ed Eichler; Susie Legere - Jan Miller; Constance Olden - Darcy Young; Roy Vance - Dan Bulau; William Davis Jr - Ralph Bowsher; Renee LaFleur - Staci Kaufanm; Josephine Sykes - Mary Yackey; Marjorie Merivale - Cat White
William Olden, a California billionaire has died leaving his entire estate including the winery, (where the action of the play takes place), to his daughter Constance. There are however three notable exceptions: He has left his twenty million dollar yacht to a Miss Josephine Sykes, his priceless art work to a Miss Renee LaFleur and his antique car collection to a Miss Marjorie Merivale. Constance, accompanied by her lawyer, Roy Vance, arrives at the mansion. They are greeted by Clifton, the butler, and an eccentric housekeeper, Agnes, who is as deaf as a post and moves about as fast as one while she wanders the mansion, looking for her pet rat, Oscar. Constance and Roy have two objectives in mind; firstly, to find out who these three women are, and secondly, by threatening to contest the will, persuade them to settle for lesser amounts of money. Clifton, the butler, seems to hold the key. Vance and Constance quickly discover that the yacht is missing, there is no art left in the mansion, and the car collection has been sold. Everything is now owned by "The Bimbo Corporation". Who owns The Bimbo Corporation? Could it be the butler?
The show dates are April 16, 17, 18, 23 and 24 at 6:30 pm at the Van Wert County Senior Center. |

OSP and web master Doug Shell received three prestigious awards from the Ohio Community Theatre Association at their September annual conference in Cincinnati. We are proud that others recognize our efforts to get out the message of live theatre.
OSP won for “Excellence in Web-site Design," Excellents in Web-site Content,” and “Outstanding in Web-site Functionality” for their website offstagetheatre.com in a field of all civic theatres in Ohio. Doug Shell is the web master for OSP and deserves the credit for this outstanding success.
The Ohio Community Theatre Association’s constitution reads: “The purpose of this statewide, non-profit service organization is to promote excellence and creativity in live theatre by providing members educational opportunities for growth in artistic and technical aspects of theatre, and to promote community awareness of, understanding of, and access to live theatre — alone or with other organizations."
Off Stage Productions, Inc., is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. We provide dinner theatre productions in the fall and in the spring. Off Stage Productions is proud to offer patrons a quality live theatre performance in a relaxing and comfortable setting at a very reasonable price. At the same time, we are able to provide a creative outlet to people who love to be involved in the production of a live play. |
